This loop goes from Green River to Monticello, Utah, and back and passes through Moab. Starting in Green River, the route stays mostly on the west side of Route 191. On the return from Monticello, it stays mainly on the east side of Route 191. Blacktop is minimized… but unavoidable in various sections.
The loop is over 375 miles. Axle Alex and Dusty completed it over two days in November 2023. It has a nice mixture of terrain, from asphalt and graded dirt/gravel roads to rock crawling and slick rock. For this reason, this trail is recommended only for well-equipped 4×4 vehicles. We completed it in our 2022 Polaris Rzr XP4 1000. The scenary is world-class. You’ll see everthing from rugged desert, massive red-rock canyons, high alpine vistas, and the might Green and Colorado Rivers!

Lastly, we haven’t named this route just yet. But stay tuned—it’s part of a larger route we’re working on and will release soon!
